These are particularly useful when joining MLCP (Multi Layer Composite Pipe) to copper pipework
The pipe is pressed onto the MLCP, with the use of a press fitting tool
The copper tail can then be joined onto another copper pipe using compression fittings, or copper push fittings
No soldering or hot processes should be used as this could damage the fitting body
